SUPERFOOD SEA VEGETABLE
Irish moss (also known as Sea Moss) and other seaweeds can provide important health benefits. For example, seaweed is rich in iodine, which is an important nutrient for your thyroid. Iodine helps your thyroid produce hormones that control your metabolism, nerves, and bone growth. It also contains 92 of the 102 vitamins and minerals that the human body requires daily. For this reason, some people choose to consume it as a natural alternative to a one-a-day vitamin.

(Lasts about 1 year raw stored in a dark and dry place.)

Ingredients: Chondrus crispus (Irish Moss/Sea Moss)

Benefits:

  • Contains over 92 essential minerals
  • Improves energy levels
  • Thyroid, digestive, & immunity support
  • Promotes healthy male/female vitality
  • Joint pain relief

Directions:

No Heat - Blended Method

  1. Place desired amount of raw sea moss in a large bowl or pot and pour in spring or distilled water until fully covered. (Note: Sea Moss will expand as it soaks, so be sure to cover 2-3 times over the top to leave room for expansion.)
  2. Allow 6-12 hours for the moss to soak and rehydrate.
  3. Drain sea moss and discard dirty water. Thoroughly rinse sea moss (2-3 times) and remove small pebbles, shells, etc. with your hands. Make sure that all sand and salt is removed as well.
  4. Place your cleaned sea moss in a high speed blender and fill it up to about halfway up the height of the sea moss in the blender with spring water or distilled water.
  5. Blend until smooth and store in a clean glass container in a refrigerator. (Lasts about 4 weeks refrigerated)

Using Heat - Boiling Method

  4. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. (Make sure that it’s large enough to hold your sea moss without spilling over.)
  5. Once the water begins to boil, turn off the heat and add sea moss to the boiling hot water.
  6. Stir the sea moss until it dissolves into the water, or blend in a high speed blender.
  7. Once all of the moss had dissolved, pour into a glass container for storage. Allow it to cool before placing it into the refrigerator for storage. (Lasts about 4 weeks refrigerated)
